We enjoy visits to Harewood House and stunning Castle Howard. Our day in York has us on a City Sightseeing Cruise and a visit to York’s Chocolate Story; great Yorkshire riches await!

Situated only a short walk from Harrogate town centre, the Crowne Plaza Harrogate offers high levels of service and comfort. Day 1

We start our journey to the Crowne Plaza in Harrogate which is home for the duration of our 5 day tour.

Day 2

After our breakfast we make our way to Harewood House, a historic country house in the heart of Yorkshire and one of the magnificent Treasure Houses of England . Here we get to enjoy time around Harewood at our leisure and a sandwich lunch with soup, tea & coffee, with scones, jam & cream to follow.

Day 3

Today we are spending our day in York, a vibrant festival city with Roman roots and a Viking past. In addition to having free time to explore this beautiful city, we will also be taking a city sightseeing cruise (45-60 mins) and visitiing Yorks Chocolate Story where we will explore 4000 years of chocolate history with a fun flavour filled tour that brings Yorks famous chocolate story to life.

Day 4

We enjoy a day at Castle Howard a Baroque masterpiece shaped by history, Castle Howard is one of Britain’s most celebrated houses, set within a landscape of unparalleled beauty. In 2026, Vanbrugh 300 celebrates the legacy of Sir John Vanbrugh, whose vision created this iconic place. Our day includes entrance to the House & grounds to explore at our leisure.

Following a hearty breakfast we make our way home.
