Day 1
We make our way to the delightful Cottons Hotel near Knutsford in Cheshire where we will arrive just in time for dinner.
DDay 2
After breakfast we will enjoy a leisurely start to our day before making our way to Chatsworth House, Bakewell for midday. Enjoy the afternoon at Chatsworth before returning back to our hotel for dinner.
B, DDay 3
Today we are going to enjoy a boat trip along the river Dee and time at leisure in Chester. Chester is unlike anywhere else in Britain. Walk its ancient streets, and the past isn't something you read about on a plaque; it's all around you, woven into the walls, the rows of black-and-white timber, the curve of the amphitheatre. This is a city that has been continuously lived in since the Romans built their fortress here, and it shows in every corner. We will return back to our hotel in time for a bit of relaxation before dinner.
B, DDay 4
Today we will be enjoying time at RHS Gardens Bridgewater Manchester. The garden opened on 18 May 2021, delayed almost a year by the Covid pandemic. The 154-acre garden is the biggest hands-on horticultural project undertaken in Europe since planning permission was granted in 2017. Named after the Bridgewater Canal that runs to its side, the garden today is an incredible resource for garden enthusiasts and local communities.
B, DDay 5
We make our journey home after a hearty breakfast.
