Experience 2

COGGES MANOR FARM: Day to be confirmed nearer the time.
Unearth rural bliss on a guided tour of Cogges Manor, an acclaimed working farm boasting over 1000 years of history. Nestled against a 13th-century manor house and Grade II listed 18th-century farm buildings, it's an idyllic retreat predating the Domesday Book. For Downton Abbey enthusiasts, this was the iconic Yew Tree Farm, gracing screens from series 4 to 6 and the latest movie.

Explore the flourishing Kitchen Garden, stroll along the river's edge, and wander through verdant pastures. Embrace the community spirit by savouring locally sourced, farm-fresh delights at the café (at guests’ own cost) - the scones are an absolute must!

PLEASE NOTE: There are stairs to access the first floor.

Experience 3

PAINSWICK ROCOCO GARDENS: Day to be confirmed nearer the time.
Step into a Cotswolds haven at Painswick, the UK's sole surviving rococo gardens, guided by the Garden Director. Since the 1970s, Lord and Lady Dickinson, the stewards of Painswick, have lovingly restored this garden gem to its former glory, using a 1748 painting by local artist Thomas Robins as their guiding inspiration.

Celebrate the 18th-century spirit of freedom, fun, and nature as you journey through this whimsical oasis. Meandering paths lead you past meticulously manicured topiaries, an explosion of vibrant blossoms, and sculptures that spring to life in the dappled sunlight. It's a Rococo wonderland, reminiscent of the 'rococo' art of Europe in the 1700s, with its ornate embellishments, pastel hues, and charming asymmetry.

PLEASE NOTE: Paths are steep and uneven, and only around a fifth of the garden is accessible to wheelchairs. The steepest slopes all have handrails, and there are 45 benches dotted around. The Garden isn’t suitable for motorised scooters, bikes or children’s scooters.
